Welcome to eurypterids.co.uk, an online resource of eurypterid data and research. Here I aim to compile information and data on these extinct creatures in an easily accessable, online format. Summaries in new advances in eurypterid research or updates to the site are shown below. If you want further information, or wish to discuss my research with me, feel free to send me an email.

News :-
14/11/2011 Today the 'About me' section has been updated to include the references to a number of talks and posters I have given and will be giving on the lead up to the end of the year. The abstracts of these posters and talks have also been placed on the website and can be found by clicking on the reference number of the 'About me' page.

Two papers have gone on line for early view; one, by Vrazo and Braddy, takes a further look at the eurypterid 'mass-molt-mate' hypothesis. The second is potentially the most important eurypterid paper released so far this century. Kamenz et al. use comparison with extant arachnids to suggest that the gender assignment of eurypterids needs reversing, a view with which I personally agree.

I'm heading off to the 35th American Arachnologists' Association meeting in Portland, Oregon at the end of the week, and I have updated the about me section with the abstract for the poster I will be presenting there. My time has largely been spent working on corrections for various manuscripts, and I intend to put a few more information pages up when I get back.

Today the about me section has been updated, as two papers have just been sent off for review. I hope to have a few new new pages up here shortly.

In the meantime, a paper has been published that includes potential pterygotid predation marks on a Devonian jawless fish.
